Valley Physical Therapy has been serving Missoula and the Bitterroot Valley for over 35 years! During this time, we have grown and changed, but we have always maintained quality, personalized care for our patients. I have been a PT for almost 19 years, 16 of them with Valley PT. I became the owner of Valley Physical Therapy just 2 ½ years ago. I never imagined that a virus would be the root of my greatest challenge. With the help of our amazing team, Valley PT has been weathering the storm
gracefully.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the employees, their families, and the clients of Valley Physical Therapy for their understanding, patience, dedication, and confidence in our ability to continue providing quality care while keeping health and safety a priority.

CLINIC UPDATES

All Valley Physical Therapy locations will be screening patients prior to their appointments. All PTs and clinic staff will be wearing masks. Individual therapists may request that their patients wear masks while in the clinic. We will be spacing
patients appropriately to allow for cleaning and to limit the number of people within the clinic.

SELF CARE TIPS

We know that these are difficult times but remember staying active is important for your mental and physical health. It is important to take walks and get outside for fresh air and sunshine. Remember to practice your social distancing in the area you choose to exercise. Maintain your strength and motion by continuing the home exercise program your PT established with you before the “stay at home” orders were placed. You can do functional exercises like getting up and down from a chair, performing heel raises or standing leg movements to help maintain your strength.

Remember to eat healthy and drink a lot of water. There are lots of resources that can help you to perform meditation or breathing exercises to keep you calm in a stressful time. We hope that you are staying healthy and well, and we look forward to seeing you soon! Let us know if there is anything you need even if not directly PT related. Hopefully, we can help or guide you in the right direction for services.
